What does the Women's Federation for World Peace Australia do?
Women’s Federation for World Peace Australia is a not-for-profit organisation with Deductible Gift Recipient status that empowers women to become leaders and peace builders in their families, workplaces, and communities. As the Australian national chapter of Women’s Federation for World Peace International, WFWP Australia supports the vision of a peaceful global society built through care, cooperation, service, and strong relationships.
Our work brings together leadership development, mentoring, values-based education, relationship enrichment, community service and global development initiatives. In Australia, we create opportunities for women, young people and families to develop confidence, practical skills and meaningful connections. Across the Pacific Islands, our projects support education, women’s economic participation and sustainable community development.

How does wfwp australia empower women and strengthen communities?
WFWP Australia empowers women by creating practical opportunities to grow as leaders, mentors, relationship builders, and contributors to their communities. We believe women have an essential role in creating peace: not only through public leadership, but through the care, courage, cooperation, and sense of responsibility they bring to families, workplaces, and community life.
Our programs support women at different stages of life. Leadership and mentoring initiatives help women develop confidence, skills, and supportive networks. Relationship enrichment and values-based education help individuals and families build trust, empathy, and healthier ways of relating to one another. Community programs bring people together around shared challenges and create spaces for learning, service, and connection.
This approach recognises that strong communities are built from strong relationships.
