OUR PROJECTS

Pacific Islands Scholarship Fund

This initiative provides young adults with the opportunity to access empowering educational programs at universities in their own country. In the Solomon Islands, we are sponsoring:     

•    Janet (to become a kindergarten teacher)     

•    Selina (to become a primary school teacher)

 

Cost of Project: $4,800

Books for the Islands (Samoa)

Shipment of 71 boxes of secondary and primary age books to the 'Itu o Tane College' and to 'Samauga Primary School', both schools on Savai’i Island, Samoa.

 

Cost of project: $504

Women's Sewing Centre (Solomon Islands)

Located in the Pacific Islands, the centres provide women with an opportunity to gain skills and support their families economically. The sewing centre in the Solomon Islands is currently moving into a new location, which needs renovation. To expand the Samoan sewing centres, we are sending six additional sewing machines.
