Speech Contest 2018
Come along and listen to our women finalists compete in our Speech Contest! WFWP Australia is expanding the horizon of its educational activities by giving young women in Australia an opportunity to speak in public under the banner of: “Empowering the Female Voice”.

About The Event

Interested in participating in the contest?
This competition is open to women between the ages of 18 to 35.
Finalists will be asked to:
o demonstrate a high level of eloquence
o articulate content that is relevant to the theme
o persevere with a dedicated attitude from the initial application to the finale on stage before an audience.
We believe this process can become an educational and rewarding experience for those who are determined to challenge themselves and carry on with a conviction to express their beliefs in public.
Prizes:
o First - $300 cheque, WFWP pen and framed certificate, plus a chance to showcase your speech at a WFWP Conference.
o Second - $150 cheque, WFWP pen and framed certificate
o Third - $75 cheque, WFWP pen and framed certificate
The first place winner will be invited to subsequent WFWP public meetings and events throughout the next year and on a few occasions, such as at the UN International Day of Peace conference; she will be offered a workshop slot. (This is not an obligation).
